"True" Love: Sweet, Not Sour.
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and showing your better “half” a little extra TLC has always been considered absolutely necessary during this hallmark holiday. (As if you weren’t showing enough the other 364 days of the year, right?) Well, if you’re anything like us, we're a bit skeptical about February 14th - all of the hype and anticipation over a dozen red roses and countless boxes of chocolate. However, many of you still deem this satisfactory and appropriate for a holiday that screams love and affection. All we're left with to contemplate is a few empty calories and a lack of creativity.
With that said, we've assembled a list of some of our favorite True recipes, guaranteed to add a little more lovin’ in your ovens this Valentine’s Day. Featuring a delightful three-course meal, these recipes are delicious, flavorful and anything but satisfactory. Check them out – your sweetheart (and taste buds) will love it!
A "True" Three-Course Meal:
1. Crisp spinach leaves get dressed up in toasted almonds, dried cranberries, smoked mozzarella and a tangy True Orange dressing: Cranberry-Spinach Salad with True Orange Vinaigrette.
2. A light fish that packs a big flavor punch: Moroccan-Spiced Cod with True Lemon. Serve over a bed of rice or couscous, and a side of lemony green beans.
