CUSTOMER QUOTE OF THE MONTH
"I am on a weight loss program currently and finding great success by drinking a lot of water and giving up diet soda. Water alone was not that palatable to me, but True Lemon® is a Godsend! I am using 10 packets a day and drinking a gallon of water and it has helped my weight loss efforts, my skin and my energy level! Plus it is a very effective appetite suppressant. I find my mouth actually waters when I fill up my glass with ice and my True Lemon, I look forward to it that much!
After years of diet failures and potential danger I subjected my body to via crazy diets, pills, etc., I am finding cutting portions, exercise, and above all water is the solution; how simple, an answer I had at my fingertips always, but I felt the solution was in a magic pill! Here it is in simple willpower and your crystallized lemon! I thank you for this product and for it helping me save my own life!"

HEALTH WATCH
MET levels are now for women too!
Researchers from Chicago's Rush University Medical Center have found that fitness needs for women are different from those of men. New research shows that women can now use their own chart of MET (metabolic equivalents) levels to determine exactly how fit they are, or should be, for their specific age.
Close to 5,800 women have been volunteering for the study since 1992. Until this report, women did not have their own MET chart. All MET standards were based on research on men, thus setting the fitness levels for women artificially high and more difficult to meet.
One MET is the amount of energy or oxygen used to sit quietly for a minute. In general, the higher the MET level one can reach, on a scale from 1 to 15, the more fit the person is. However, how long a person can maintain the MET level isn't important: the person should simply be able to reach the level. Moderate walking burns three to six METs, and jogging can consume six to ten.
To determine what your MET level should be, you can use these equations:
Women: 14.7 - (0.13 x age)
For example: A 35-year-old woman would need to reach 10.15 METs.
Men: 14.7 - (0.11 x age)
For example: A 35-year-old man would need to reach 10.85 METs.

TRUE LEMON® CHICKEN
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 tablespoons flour
10-15 packets True Lemon®
salt and pepper to taste
splash of olive oil
unsalted butter to coat bottom of pan
Directions
- Wash chicken and cut into bite-size pieces.
- Put chicken in a large bowl and add flour; stir or shake to coat.
- Add True Lemon® packets, and season with salt and pepper; shake to coat.
- Melt butter in pan with a bit of olive oil (to keep butter from burning). Cook chicken.
- While chicken is cooking, if you decide you want a more intense flavor, you can add a few more packets of True Lemon®.
Servings: 4
If you would like sauce, here are 2 recipes:
- Once the chicken is cooked, remove from the pan and add a can of low sodium chicken broth with a bit of white wine. Thicken as desired with cornstarch mixed with a bit of the liquid. You can also add some sautéed mushrooms. Add chicken back to the sauce and serve.
- For a creamy sauce: Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the pan and add some fat free half and half to the pan drippings, again thickening with cornstarch (if it gets too thick, thin with broth). Do NOT add anymore True Lemon® or the sauce will curdle. Add salt and pepper to taste and serve with chicken.

HOW DO YOU USE TRUE LEMON®?
"I take 2-3 cups of hot water, mix in 2-3 packets of Splenda® and 4-5 packets of True Lemon® and freeze it overnight. The next day, I use a small spoon and scoop it into a plastic cup to have a great no-carb frozen 'dessert!' It's really good!"
Tracy Fitz,
Hanover Twp, PA
"I like True Lemon® sprinkled on fresh corn on the cob in place of salt and butter."
Karen E,
Holly Springs, GA
"I feed True Lemon® to my horse - he even likes it!"
Lisa Dutton,
Toledo, OH
"I put one pack of True Lemon® in a bottle of spring water (16oz) and one packet of Splenda®. Then I put it into the freezer for about two hours, until some ice has formed around the inside of the bottle. Then I squeeze the bottle to break up the ice and shake. It's like a lemon icee. I find this so refreshing on hot summer days."
Ruthann Rowe,
Conshohocken, PA
