-HEIDI CARNEY JOINS GRAND BRANDS MARKETING TEAM-

BALTIMORE, MD (January 1, 2004) - David Schleider, founder and president of Grand Brands, LLC, announced today that Heidi C. Carney has been hired as Vice President of Customer Marketing.

Prior to Grand Brands, Heidi Carney was the president of Sales Support Professionals, a company that provides marketing and sales support to small and medium-size businesses. Ms. Carney has also held the position of vice president of marketing and customer relations for Explore, a provider of before- and after-school academic enrichment programs and was vice president of The Epic Group, a national healthcare consulting group. Before joining the Epic Group, Ms. Carney worked for Integrated Health Services, a post-acute care company where she served in various positions including Director of Corporate Marketing, Director of Acquisition Implementation and as a Regional Sales and Marketing Manager. 

"With almost two decades of marketing, sales and customer service experience in both established and start-up companies, she is a perfect fit," commented David Schleider, on hiring Ms. Carney.
