print
Ingredients
| 20 chicken wings or drumsticks 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon coarse ground pepper 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1 stick margarine 3-4 packets of True Lemon (to taste) |
Directions
1. Prepare a large cookie sheet covering it with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
2. Place flour, pepper, and garlic powder into a re-closable bag, dredge wings in flour/pepper mixture being sure to coat them well.
3. Place wings on prepared cookie sheet and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour up to 4 hours. (This step helps the flour/pepper mixture adhere to the wings better).
4. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Heat margarine until melted and then add the True Lemon.
5. Add a packet at a time and taste until you get the desired lemon flavor. Stir until well blended.
6. Dip wings into butter/lemon mixture and place back onto cookies sheet.
7. Bake for 45 minutes until chicken is no longer pink in the middle and crunchy on the outside.
8. Turn wings half way through baking time.
9. These are delicious plain or enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce such as ranch or blue cheese.
