Description
Looking for alternatives to meat? The blog Veggie Manifesto recommends Quorn Chik’n Tenders (meatless and soy free) in a vegetable stir fry with True Lemon!Ingredients
1 yellow squash, sliced and halved
1 head of broccoli, florets only
1 box bow tie pasta, cooked per box instructions
1 bag of Quorn Chik’n Tenders
4 packets of True Lemon
Lemon pepper seasoning
Sea Salt
1 tbls grapeseed oil
Directions
Prep your veggies and toss them into a wok (or large saute pan) with the grapeseed oil.
Get jiggy with the lemon pepper seasoning and the TrueLemon packets.
If your veggies get sticky, add a tablespoon of water at a time to keep them sauteing nicely.
When the veggies are about halfway to the tender crisp texture you enjoy, add in the Quorn and continue cooking. Season with sea salt to your desired salt level.
When finished toss with a little more grapeseed oil with the pasta. Or if you wish, take about a cup of vegetable broth and a tsp of thickener and add to the pan to make it saucy.

Notes
It didn’t have a funky aftertaste that many faux meat products seem to have. I took it to work the next day for leftovers as well. It reheats perfectly and doesn’t lose it’s shape or texture. - Veggie Manifesto
