Tangy Lemon Couscous

  • 1 cup whole wheat Couscous
  • 1 cup Low-Sodium Chicken Broth (70 mg sodium per cup)
  • 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter/Margarine
  • (Use Olive Oil to lower saturated fat/cholesterol)
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp True Lemon®

  1. Combine chicken broth and couscous in a microwave safe dish
  2. Add melted butter or olive oil and True Lemon
  3. Stir well
  4. Microwave on HIGH for 3 1/2 minutes
  5. Fluff with fork and serve
  6. May sprinkle extra True Lemon¨ on top, to taste

  • Makes 5 - 1/2 cup servings
