True Lemon Super Fan Linda Chaffee

A mother of five, Linda and her husband, Walter, are life-long travelers and have been to China, the Amazon, and all over Europe. (Along with their youngest son, whom they home-schooled during the trip, they even lived on a boat for five years, sailing to South America then up to Canada, back to the Bahamas and then back home again.)

While Linda had been using True Lemon for over a year (she says it helps her to drink more water) Linda had not tried True Lime but decided to get a box as she was getting ready for her 10-day trip to Egypt. Linda had read that seasoned travelers always take lime juice with them when they travel to countries where the water may not be sanitary. (The citric acid from the lime juice helps to break down the cell membranes of bacteria. In fact, lime juice was found to help fight against the contraction of cholera in West Africa during cholera epidemics.)

Initially those around Linda scoffed as she added her True Lime to her coffee (“It really tastes quite good,” Linda says), tea, beer and water. However, only days into the trip, Linda’s fellow travelers, including her husband, were dropping like flies, felled by vomiting and diarrhea while Linda sailed through the trip without incident.

“I absolutely attribute not getting sick like everyone else to my True Lime,” says Linda. “Now I’ll always take it with me when I travel!”
