True Lemon Super Fan Sue Hillestad
"It's crystallized lemon that doesn't add any of the bad stuff," Sue
Hillestad explains to passengers flying aboard the major US airline she
works for when passing out True Lemon or True Lime packets on board.
Our March 2008 Super Fan, Sue Hillestad, a flight attendant for 30 years
from Blaine, Minnesota, stumbled upon True Lemon in her local grocery
store and ever since has carried it with her everywhere.
An avid user, Sue goes through about 10 packets a day! She orders the
500 count boxes of each flavor from Discount Coffee.
"I hated going to restaurants, ordering an iced tea, and having it
brought to me with a slice of lemon. I can't squeeze a slice of lemon.
Now I carry True Lemon in my purse and I'm always prepared," Hillestad
says.
Sue even brings True Lemon and True Lime on her flights. "We only get a
small container of lemons and limes for the entire day," she explains.
"A lot of times we run out, or they get saved for the next day, and
by then they've gone bad." With the passenger's permission, Sue will
offer True Lemon or True Lime instead. She says the passengers really
like it and they're excited they can still have their lemon or lime
flavoring.
After hearing about the dirty lemon wedge study, Sue's passengers were
so thankful there was an alternative to the fruit. "I tell them it
[True Lemon/Lime] tastes better than a fresh squeezed wedge of fruit,"
Hillestad explains.
Sue believes in the True Products so much, she even suggested it to the
food service department of a major US airline company. Fingers crossed,
they'll fall in love with True Products just as easily.
Next time you're looking for a refreshing thirst-quencher try one of
Sue's favorite drinks - mixing all three flavors of True Products
(lemon, lime and orange) to a cold glass of water for a "citrus-punchy"
beverage!
