The first step in creating a life built around good health is to understand that nothing about fitness or nutrition should be a fad. This is the basis of Kim’s “fitlosophy” – it’s making real lifestyle changes that become a part of every day, and ultimately who you are.
My goal is to help the world become a healthier place… physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Kim’s education began with a degree in Human Development from Colorado State University, and continued through personal training at the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She is master certified in Corrective Exercise, Sport Performance, and Prenatal Exercise.
On top of her wide credibility, Kim has become an icon in the health and fitness arena. She has been featured on NBC’s hit show, The Biggest Loser, and Dr Phil’s Ultimate Weight Loss Challenge. Kim published her first book, “Your Body, Your Life” in 2008, and has made appearances in a wide range of best-selling cookbooks, broadcast programs, and print publications.
Kim believes that there are three simple rules to follow for maximum fitness:
- Use that 20-30 minute workout each day to burn as many calories as possible in the least amount of time.
- Exercises should be adjusted to fit every skill level.
- Little to no equipment should be necessary. The world is your gym!
Furthermore, Kim has developed a training technique that uses a series of Single Movement Patterns, that progress to Triple Movement Patterns to increase muscle recruitment and cardiovascular efficiency.
With a unique combination of proper nutrition, emotional support, and effective exercise programs, Kim’s positive attitude and determination has helped inspire countless people to lead a happy and healthy lifestyle!
