Make a rule that every time you use the bathroom you drink 8-10 ounces of water afterwards. Think of it as a way of immediately replenishing the fluids you just lost.
Munch on fruits and vegetables that contain a lot of water such as tomatoes, watermelon, berries, cucumbers, zucchini, carrots, celery, etc. Eating a wide array of colorful whole foods goes even farther than nutrition, as they are also packed full of water.
Upon waking each morning, fill a glass of water and drink it down. It will wake up your system and start your day off with one glass already finished!
Keep it in eyesight.
Invest in a high-quality water bottle that you can refill over and over. Keep it on your desk, or out where you will see it. Take a picture of the bottle and use it as a background on your phone as a reminder to keep sipping.

Coffee is a diuretic, which means you'll actually expel more water after consuming. Try replacing one cup of coffee a day (or 3 cups per week) with green or herbal tea.

Many people have difficulty drinking water when its too cold. Our bodies are 98.6 degrees, so that frigid water can cause a shock to the system. It is easier to drink tepid or room temperature water so when you're out, request no ice.
