Simple cookies you will be sure to love! Perfectly buttery and a little crumbly, these are delicious when served with afternoon tea. Recipe submitted by Bernadette Cirigliano.
1 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons True Lemon
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Cream butter, sugar, and egg until fluffy. Add vanilla. Mix flour, baking powder, and True Lemon together and stir into creamed mixture.
- Fill cookie press with mixture, and form cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned at edges. Remove from cookie sheet and let cool on racks.
