Dry Spice Rub for Chicken and Pork

Make a big batch of this seasoning, and you’ll be ready to go for seasoning ribs and pork anytime. Submitted by Lori Wentling of Fairfield OH.

Ingredients

Dry BBQ spice rub
1 tablespoon smoked paprika
2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon chili powder, sweet or hot
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried, granulated garlic
1 packet of True Lemon

Directions

Mix all ingredients well. Store in an air tight container up to 6 months.

Notes

This dry spice rub is fantastic on chicken or pork. It will cover 3 pounds of chicken or 3 full slabs of pork ribs. It’s easy to rub on chicken in the morning before going into work!
