Fresh fish basted in garlic, lemon, and lime. Tasty, satisfying, and heart-healthy!
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 medium onion, diced
4 packets True Lime dissolved in 2 tablespoons water
3 packets True Lemon
1 garlic clove, minced
2 salmon fillets (about 1-1/2 pounds each)
salt and pepper
- In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine the first five ingredients and shake well.
- Sprinkle salmon with salt and pepper then broil, skin side down, 4-6 inches from the heat for 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Baste salmon every 5 minutes with True Lemon-Lime mixture.
