Layered Mango and Strawberry-Banana Smoothie

Get island-inspired with this delicious fruit smoothie! It’s tropical and tasty, and the layers just make it all the more fun. This recipe was adapted from MyRecipes.com, and makes 2 servings.

Ingredients

1 fresh mango (peeled, pitted, and coarsely chopped), or 1 cup frozen mango
1 1/4 cups plain yogurt
4 tablespoons honey
2 packets of True Lime
1 banana (peeled, and chopped)
10 medium strawberries (washed, and hulled)
2 packets of True Lemon

Directions
  1. In a blender, combine the mango, 3/4 cup yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, True Lime, and 2 ice cubes until smooth.
  2. Divide mango-lime smoothie between 2 Mason jars, and set aside.
  3. Rinse blender; then combine the banana, strawberries, 1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, True Lemon, and 2 ice cubes until smooth.
  4. Layer banana-strawberry smoothie onto mango smoothie, gently spooning mixture around inside edge of each glass to create a clean horizontal line.
