Lemon Popsicles

3 lemon popsicles with True Citrus on a plate

A cool and refreshing treat on a hot day! Recipe submitted by Lois Silverman.


2 cups low-fat buttermilk
1/4 cup Splenda
2 – 3 packets True Lemon
1 fresh pear, finely chopped (or any other seasonal fruit)

  1. Whisk all ingredients except fresh fruit until well blended.
  2. Gently stir in the fresh fruit chunks.
  3. Pour into popsicle molds, or small paper cups. Place in the freezer for about 1-hour until firm.
  4. Enjoy!

A great recipe for those trying to cut back on sugar, or for diabetics! Delicious with chunks of fresh fruit – try with anything you have on hand, such as berries or melon.

For a different twist, omit the Splenda and instead substitute 2-3 packets of True Watermelon Aqua Fresca (already naturally sweetened). Use fresh chopped watermelon as the fruit chunks!
