This delicious pesto sauce pairs well with zucchini noodles or spaghetti squash. Toss in some mushrooms, tomatoes, artichokes and ground turkey for a well-rounded meal!
- 2 cups packed fresh arugula and/or basil, tough stems removed
- ½ cup sliced shelled pecans
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 medium garlic cloves, peeled and roughly chopped
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1 packet of True Lemon
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Place all ingredients in the food processor and blend.
