True Lemon helps to counter the bitter flavor that often overtakes Brussels sprouts. A recipe everyone is sure to enjoy!
2-1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed
2 cloves garlic, smashed
3 tablespoons olive oil
kosher salt and black pepper
6 tablespoons (3/4) stick unsalted butter, melted
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
6 packets of True Lemon dissolved in 3 tablespoons water
- Heat oven to 425 degrees F. Dividing evenly on 2 rimmed baking sheets, toss the Brussels sprouts, garlic, oil, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
- Roast in the oven, tossing once, until tender, 15 to 20 minutes.
- Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a large bowl. Add the butter, bread crumbs, and True Lemon juice, and toss to combine.
Like your breadcrumbs toasty as well? Mix the breadcrumbs into the Brussels sprouts halfway through cooking, and they will toast up nicely for a little added crunch.
