These shrimp seem pretty innocent, but they pack a punch of flavor. Super easy to throw together for a summertime snack!
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 teaspoon from True Lime Shaker
1/2 teaspoon salt
Generous pinch ground white pepper (can substitute black pepper if you have it on hand)
Pinch of cayenne
Butter or oil for cooking
- Combine the shrimp, True Lime, salt, pepper, and cayenne in a bowl. Stir to combine and let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes.
- Heat about a tablespoon of butter or oil (or a combination) in a saute pan over medium-high heat. Cook the shrimp on both sides until cooked through and opaque. Shrimp cooks quickly, so don’t walk away – this will be done in just a few minutes.
- Serve warm, at room temperature, or chilled. Drizzle with cooking liquid, and an extra dash of True Lime.
