There’s nothing like a fruity sangria to get a party started! Easily cut down the alcohol content by adding more seltzer. Recipe adapted from Cosmopolitan.
1 (750-ml) bottle red wine (try a Spanish wine, such as Rioja)
2 ounces of brandy
1 (8-ounce) can pineapple chunks packed in 100% juice
1 cup seltzer or club soda
4 packets True Lime, 4 packets True Lemon, and 4 packets True Orange
Fruit (strawberries, blueberries, etc.) and fresh mint for garnish
- Combine wine, liqueur, True Citrus, and the can of pineapple (with the juice) in large pitcher. Stir and store in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- To serve, pour the chilled seltzer into the pitcher, and gently stir to combine with the wine. Feel free to remove the pineapple before this step, if desired.
- Serve over ice garnished with fresh sliced fruit and mint.
