True Lemon was born in Baltimore, so it’s only natural that we’d love this classic recipe!
1 pound lump crab meat, fresh or canned
1 cup bread crumbs
1 tablespoon dried parsley (or 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley)
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 teaspoon brown mustard
1 packet True Lemon
1/2 to 1 teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning (depending on how spicy you want it)
- In a bowl gently combine crab meat, bread crumbs, and parsley.
- In a separate bowl, mix egg with the remaining ingredients.
- Carefully combine the two bowls and blend together so that the mixture can be packed into crab cakes. Try not to break-up the crab meat to much when mixing.
- Broil the crab cakes for 10-minutes on each side, or fry in oil on the stove for about 5-minutes each side.
Serve with a side of cocktail or tarter sauce.
