True Lemon-Basil Carrots

True Lemon basil carrots in a large baking pan

Give carrots a special zest with this simple seasoning!


1 1/2 pounds of baby carrots
1 tablespoon butter
1 packet of True Lemon
1 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
Dash of pepper

  1. Place carrots in a small saucepan; add water to cover.
  2. Cook for about 10 minutes, or until tender.
  3. Drain liquid, and return to pan.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients.
  5. Cook over low heat until butter is melted and carrots are heated through.
