A flavorful hummus to enjoy with crackers, vegetables, chips or on your favorite burger or sandwich. To make the hummus smoother, add a little more olive oil. To make it chunkier, decrease the oil a bit.
2 cans (15 ounces) garbanzo beans or chickpeas, rinsed and drained
3 tablespoons True Lime Garlic & Cilantro Spice Blend
1/3 cup water
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- In a food processor, combine garbanzo beans, True Lime Garlic & Cilantro, water, oil, salt and cayenne.
- Cover and process until blended. Serve with warm pita bread, or sliced vegetables.
Makes 12 servings or 3 cups.
