These zesty shrimp are perfect to eat alone, tossed with veggies, or over a bed of rice. This recipe serves 6.
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon True Lime, Garlic & Cilantro spice blend
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 pounds shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 teaspoon salt
- In a medium bowl, combine 1/4 cup vegetable oil, True Lime, Garlic & Cilantro spice blend, and red pepper flakes. Add shrimp then cover and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
- Remove shrimp from marinade; discard marinade. Season shrimp with salt, and additional True Lime, Garlic & Cilantro and/or red pepper flakes.
- In a saute pan over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon vegetable oil and saute the shrimp. Cook 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until just cooked through.
- Remove from heat, and serve with a side of steamed vegetables and rice. Enjoy!
