A recipe that’s nutritious and protein-dense, and even more delicious because it’s made with True Lime! Recipe submitted by Laura Sabo.
1 can tuna, drained
1 (15 ounce) can white cannellini or garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
4 stalks of celery, chopped
1/4 cup red onion, sliced
2 tablespoon olive oil
1 packet True Lime*
Fresh parsley or basil, roughly chopped (as garnish) – optional
Salt and pepper to taste
In a medium-sized bowl, mix together tuna, beans, celery and red onion. Add olive oil and True Lime to tuna mixture and combine thoroughly. Add salt and pepper to taste, sprinkle with freshly chopped herbs, and enjoy!
*You can also substitute True Lemon.
To make this a heartier meal, serve over a bed of couscous!
