An easy and delicious dip! Great with buttery, round crackers or on a bed of fresh spinach. Recipe submitted by Susan Shrader.
3 3-oz packages cream cheese (the kind with chives is best)
4 True Lemon packets dissolved in 2 tablespoons water
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce (if making gluten-free, use Tamari instead)
1/8 teaspoons garlic salt
1/4 cup finely chopped onion (white or green)
3-4 dashes hot pepper sauce
1/2 cup finely chopped celery
2 7-ounce cans tuna fish, drained
Fresh chopped green onions, parsley, or chives (as optional garnish)
- Mix the cream cheese with True Lemon juice. Add remaining ingredients, except for the tuna fish, and mix well.
- Add the tuna into the mixture, and stir well to combine.
- Serve with crackers, chips, vegetables, or on a bed of fresh spinach!
For another variation, roll the tuna dip into balls and cover chopped walnuts and chopped parsley.
